Keto Tacos

Keto Taco Shells:

Using a silicon baking sheet rolled out on top a cookie sheet sprinkle shredded cheese of your choice (we prefer taco cheese or mild cheddar) in a large circle (about the size of the your palm (approx 1/2 -1 full cup). Spread the cheese fairly thin just enough to melt together. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for about 5 mins. Keep an eye on them they cook fast. We usually get 2 shells per sheet. You can make them as big or small as you would like. Once they are done, remove from the oven and let them sit for a few minutes. Then top with your favorite toppings. We like taco meat, sour cream, tomatoes, lettuce, green onion and a little salsa. 

Taco Meat:

2 lbs. of ground chuck or ground round. Brown and drain the ground beef return to the pan and add one packet of your favorite taco seasoning per lb. instead of vegetable oil we prefer to ketofy ours with 2-3 Tbs. of refined coconut oil which can be found at or most health food stores. We use coconut oil to help get extra fats our MCT's in for the day. We also add 1-2 Tbs. of ground cumin for that extra smokey flavor (this is completely optional).


2 lbs. ground round or ground chuck

2 pkg. of your favorite taco seasoning

2 Tbs. ground cumin

2-3 Tbs. refined coconut oil.
