Keto Bread

If you are missing bread. This is a good alternative way to satisfy your taste buds Keto style.
​
Ingredients:
​
1 1/2 cups of Almond Flour
5 Eggs (we prefer organic)
5 tsp. Butter (melted) perferaly grass fed such as Kerrygold
1/2 tsp. Cream of tartar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt (more if you prefer a salty taste)

Instructions:

Heat oven to 350 degrees.
​
Separate eggs. Place the egg whites in a small bowl, add cream of tarter and beat on high with a hand mixer until soft peaks are formed and stand on their own. This will help your bread to have a fluffy texture.
​
In a food processor mix almond flour, egg yolks, butter, baking powder and salt. Process until dough is thick and well mixed however, do not over mix.
Add the 1/2 of the egg whites to the mixture in the food processor and combine quickly. Add the remaining egg white mixture and mix until just combined.
​
Pour your mixture into a greased 8.5x4.5 inch loaf pan and bake 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
​
Let cool on a cooling rack and flip from loaf pan. Slice and enjoy.
​
Each slice yields approx. 2 Net Carbs.
